Scholarship Programme of the Fulbright Foundation in Greece

Α non-profit, non-political, autonomous, educational organisation, the Fulbright Foundation in Greece was established in 1948 through a binational treaty between the United States and Greece. It awards scholarships to Greek and American citizens – students, teachers, scholars and artists – to pursue a wide variety of educational projects. The Fulbright grants are in the form of financial stipends that allow students, scholars, artists and teachers to study, lecture or conduct independent research in the US and Greece respectively. Grantees are selected by independent committees on the basis of academic and professional excellence, civic engagement and career potential. In recognition of the importance of education and the increased need, particularly in light of current financial circumstances, for educational and training opportunities for Greek youth, the A. G. Leventis Foundation has since 2013 offered its support to the Fulbright scholarship programme supporting Greek graduate students.

Grants given:

2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022
