University College London – A. G. Leventis Post-doctoral Research Fellowship in Ancient Greek Literature

The A. G. Leventis Foundation has a long-standing connection to UCL. In 2011-2012 this partnership was solidified by the appointment of Rosa M. Andujar as the A. G. Leventis Research Fellow of Ancient Greek Literature within the Greek and Latin Department. Rosa has studied in the UK and the US and recently completed a PhD on ‘The Chorus in Dialogue: Reading Lyric Exchanges in Greek Tragedy’. During her time at UCL, she will focus on turning her thesis into a book and research the reception of Greek drama in the 20th-century post-colonial Hispanic Caribbean, a largely neglected region in reception studies. She will play a central role in the department’s academic and outreach activities, bringing the department’s knowledge of Classics and their heritage to the wider community, as well as being the academic adviser for the annual Classical play at the Bloomsbury Theatre.

Grants given:

2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022
