A. G. Leventis Archaeological Materials Science Laboratories naming ceremony at the Cyprus Institute, 25 November 2025
On 25 November, the Cyprus Institute hosted the naming ceremony of the A. G. Leventis Archaeological Materials Science Laboratories, marking the inauguration of a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to scientific research and the advancement of cultural heritage in Cyprus. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, the laboratories will support the Department of Antiquities, international archaeological missions, the University of Cyprus, and major research projects at the Cyprus Institute.
The A. G. Leventis Foundation has supported the A. G. Leventis Chair in Archaeological Sciences since 2018 and has renewed its funding for a further five years, in recognition of which the laboratories have been named in its honour.
